On average, we deliver standard powerchairs within three weeks of approval. Like custom chairs, standard powerchairs are typically covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance when medical necessity is documented, and we'll work directly with your provider and insurance plan to keep the process simple.

Yes, when your doctor documents that you need one to do daily activities at home and you can't safely use a cane, walker, or manual wheelchair. Medicare Part B typically pays 80% after your deductible, and we bill Medicare directly.

What's the difference between a standard and a custom power wheelchair?
A standard chair is for people who can sit and position themselves. A custom (complex rehab) chair adds features like power tilt, recline, and specialty controls, and requires an evaluation with our Assistive Technology Professional (ATP).

How long does it take to get my chair?
Standard power wheelchairs are usually delivered within about three weeks of insurance approval. Custom chairs take longer because they're built to your measurements.
